Dr. Oluyemisi (Yemi) Famuyiwa, the founder of the Montgomery Fertility Center in Rockville, Maryland. Dr. Famuyiwa is also the Associate Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at George Washington University School of Medicine and an attending physician at Holy Cross Hospital in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Silver Spring, Maryland. She is board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Famuyiwa received her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in 1989. Dr.
Famuyiwa did her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from 1989 to 1993 at Georgetown
University. She completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at The National
Institute of Health from 1993 to 1995. Dr. Famuyiwa graduated, Magna Cum Laude, from Kent State
University with a degree in Biological Sciences.
Dr. Famuyiwa has lectured at numerous medical conferences and participated in research affecting
women’s health.
Dr. Famuyiwa is at the forefront of providing state-of-the-art care based on emergent and ongoing
